Campus requires that new furniture be purchased according to current vendor contracts (http://matman.ucsc.edu/purchasing). As part of our contract with our major furniture supplier, Steelcase, they can provide furniture specialists who will design custom office or laboratory layouts for a fee. Plus, there is used furniture available through UCSC Surplus Operation website (http://matman.ucsc.edu/receiving/SurplusOverview.htm).
