My goal is to find a teaching position as an upper elementary or middle school science and/or math teacher. As an immigrant myself, I am especially interested in working with culturally, linguistically, and/or socio-economically diverse populations. As a teacher I will strive to advocate for all students and help provide them with rich opportunities to learn and make connections with the world around them: physical, social, and political. I want to be a memorable teacher who they can identify as having played an important role in helping them learn how to think, question, problem solve, communicate, work cooperatively, succeed, and have fun!
