Your gift makes a difference by providing scholarships for our undergraduate and graduate students, funding for student research and field studies, and opportunities for students to attend scholarly conferences. Our fundraising priorities in the Economics Department are:

Economics Department Unrestricted Gift Fund

Unrestricted donations give the department flexibility to support promising opportunities and meet pressing needs. Your contribution to the Unrestricted Gift Fund will support undergraduate scholarships in economics.

Applied Economics and Finance Fellowship

The M.S. program in applied economics and finance provides two years of analytical graduate training that prepares students for careers in business, government, international and domestic banking, consulting firms, and nonprofit organizations. Recent graduates of the program have competed very successfully in the job market with those holding M.B.A.s and Ph.D.s from other schools. Global Scholarship Fund

Global economics majors study economics in the context of a particular geographic area, incorporating language study, area study, and study abroad into their academic plan. Students develop a sound understanding of economics in an international context, focusing particularly on one geographic area. Your donation to this fund will assist undergraduate students in funding their studies abroad. For more information see our Global Economics section.

Business Management Economics Program

This program combines the strong analytic approach of economics with the technical aspects of management. Among other things, students will complete an economics field placement to obtain practical experience in applying academic economics, business, and management to issues and problems in the real world.
