Your gift will support student and co-curricular activities sponsored by the Anthropology Department as it prepares students to study and research humans and how humans make meaning through one of our three subfields.
In the Anthropology Department at UC Santa Cruz, we seek to understand the past and the present to create multifaceted perspectives of people, places, cultures, and societies. We use a wide variety of methods to carry out our work, from parsing DNA in a lab to conducting fieldwork locally and globally.
Donating to our department’s unrestricted fund helps us provide a well-rounded education to our undergraduate and graduate students, care for our on-campus labs, and fund research that unearths new meanings for old and current ways of life.
