India and the United States are the world's two largest democracies and among its most dynamic economies. They have deepened their engagement on many fronts over the last two decades. In September and October, India's Prime Minister and Finance Minister made visits to the U.S., exploring possibilities for increased strategic collaboration and cross-border investment.
In this context, UCSC hosted a conversation with India's Consul General in San Francisco, N. Parthasarathi, and one of Silicon Valley's leaders, Gunjan Sinha.
The discussion considered how the future of the India-U.S. relationship will shape innovation and economic development within each nation directly, as well as consider the global implications of this interaction. Attendees had the chance to learn about the contours of one of the most important global driving forces of the next decade.
