What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? How will this scholarship impact your academic life/research? The most memorable moment is when I was awarded the Eileen Brooks Award. It was biggest achievement of my life. I have been working really hard, but I did not know if I had a potential to be a great economist because it always seemed that I did not know much about the world. The recognition by the Economics Department with the Eileen Brooks Award has made me realize that I have an ability to generate knowledge. I will continue striving to understand better about the world we live in, especially the developing world and the lives of the poor.
