Research:
My researched involved a qualitative analysis to understand how agencies throughout Santa Cruz County were implementing aspects of trauma informed care for vulnerable populations of women. Within my research approach, I interviewed staff and directors of different agencies that served vulnerable populations within Santa Cruz County. I wanted to better understand how marginalized women are being holistically supported by these agencies through a lens of trauma informed care, how that support is being implemented, and the barriers and challenges both the agency and population may face in service.
