With all of the choices for college, what made UC Santa Cruz stand out? UCSC has a beautiful environment and a strong atmospheric atmosphere.

What do you hope to do once you graduate from UC Santa Cruz? I plan to continue my study in the U.S. (apply to graduate school).

What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? One memorable moment is that my first time taking small course (core course) I was nervous to express my thoughts in front of others. But when I spoke, everyone focused on me and the professor also encouraged me. That was the first time gaining approval and after that I was willing to express my feelings.

How will this scholarship/award impact your academic life/research? This scholarship is an encouragement and approval on my study. I never thought that I could get this award. I am an international student and I need to spend more time to engage in this new environment. This scholarship gives me the confidence to continue my studies.
