When do you expect to graduate? June 2024

Where do you call home? Los Angeles, California although Santa Cruz still holds a special place in my heart.

With all of the choices for college, what made UC Santa Cruz stand out? What made UCSC stand out to me was the gorgeous natural environment that is the campus itself. It is incredibly fascinating to be able to see the redwoods wildlife such as deer & turkeys as I’m walking around campus.

What is your field of focus? Business Management Economics with Concentration in Accounting

What do you hope to do once you graduate from UC Santa Cruz? I currently have Audit position lined up with Deloitte & Touché once I graduate. I also plan on getting my CPA license as soon as possible.

What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? A memorable moment that stood out to me as a student here was the Crown-organized student hike. It was the evening of the day that I first moved into campus.

What is your one piece of advice for incoming students about life at UC Santa Cruz? My advice for incoming students is for them to get out of their comfort zones & join student organizations. Student organizations are a great way to network & gain skills crucial to being successful.

How will this scholarship impact your academic life /research? This scholarship serves a reminder to me that hard work pays off. This scholarship will greatly relieve some of the financial burden of college.
