Call for Applications: Weiss Family Scholarship Endowment

About the Award

What: Up to $2,800 in scholarship funds available to award to one or more undergraduate students.
Who can apply:
 Undergraduate students at UC Santa Cruz, in any major, who are affiliated with College Nine or College Ten and who are working directly with faculty within the Research Centers in the Division of Social Sciences.
How to apply:
Students must be nominated by a faculty member.
When to apply: Call letter goes out on or around March 1 annually.

About the award:

The Weiss Family Scholarship enhances the mission of the Division of Social Sciences research centers, rewards outstanding students, strengthens student/faculty connections, and provides an additional incentive for the research centers to involve the students within these two Division of Social Sciences residential colleges.

A merit based scholarship, the Weiss Family Scholarship provides one or more awards to undergraduate students at UC Santa Cruz, in any major, who are affiliated with College Nine or College Ten and are working directly with faculty within the Research Centers.

Through awards like the Weiss Family Scholarship Endowment, the Division of Social Sciences wants to give back to those that give. We care that YOU care.
