With all of the choices for college, what made UC Santa Cruz stand out? I visited the school and loved all of the trees and just thought that it was the perfect location and it all felt very peaceful.
What is your field of focus? Environmental studies, I have not yet chosen a specific focus but I am thinking about sustainability.
What do you hope to do once you graduate from UC Santa Cruz? I want to go to grad school to continue my education but I have not yet thought about where.
What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? One memorable moment for me would be taking my first environmental studies class which was ENVS 24, and I loved the professor because he was so passionate and the class just made me very happy and gave me hope for the future.
How will this scholarship impact your academic life/research? This scholarship will definitely take off some of the financial stress that comes along with school and it will make it easier for me to purchase books which will in turn help me succeed academically.
