With all of the choices for college, what made UC Santa Cruz stand out? The exceptionally known Science and Education Departments.

What is your field of focus? Secondary Science Education

What do you hope to do once you graduate from UC Santa Cruz? I hope to become an outstanding science teacher who inspires students and future scientists.

What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? So many fond memories.  I suppose late nights studying with my colleagues are among my favorite memories.  Particularly before final exams, staying up all night solving chemistry problems on a whiteboard while drinking coffee and laughing.

What is your one piece of advice for incoming students about life at UC Santa Cruz? Cherish your time, it goes by fast. 

How will this scholarship impact your academic life /research? This will help me become a teacher in lower income neighborhoods.
