With all of the choices for college, what made UC Santa Cruz stand out? I really thought that UC Santa Cruz stood out as a college filled with people that are committed to social betterment, rather than perpetuating the status quo.

What do you hope to do once you graduate from UC Santa Cruz? I hope to engage with other community members to address social issues like houslessness, incarceration and childhood poverty.
What is one memorable moment that stands out for you as a student here? I would say that learning to learn remotely has been the most memorable experience for me, which is to say University learning during a pandemic has had its drawbacks.
What is your one piece of advice for incoming students about life at UC Santa Cruz? Be very prepared to pivot when you don't hear the answer you need to hear. Ask someone else, move forward.
